FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to infectious diseases and pediatrics, and is intended to predict perinatal hepatitis B virus infection in children. A number of adverse factors in the mother are revealed: pregnancy by count, the fact of infection of previous children, exacerbation of urogenital infections during pregnancy, the presence of HBeAg, the presence of HBV DNA, antiviral therapy during pregnancy. The obtained values are introduced into the formulas for calculating the linear discriminant function: LDF1=-63.5+22.8×X1+35.3×X2-4.5×X3+7.3×X4+3.7×X5+11.1×Х6, LDF2=-72.9+24.3×Х1+34.2×Х2-5.6×Х3+11.7×Х4+6.8×Х5+7.2×Х6. When LDF1>LDF2, the absence of infection is predicted. When LDF2> LDF1, a high risk of infection is predicted.
EFFECT: invention improves the accuracy of predicting the transmission of hepatitis B virus from mother to child.
