FIELD: smoking devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products based on tobacco. An apparatus made in form of a tobacco-based product containing a consumable material constituting tobacco, made thereof, derived therefrom, or containing tobacco, or in form of a package for one or more tobacco-based products or for a consumable material. Said apparatus therein comprises a casing configured to hold a tobacco-based product or a consumable material. A near field communication (NFC) label configured to be in wireless communication with a computing apparatus equipped with an NFC scanner, and containing an antenna and an integrated circuit (IC) configured to store or generate information containing at least a geographic location of an appropriate supplier or retailer of said apparatus is located on or inside said casing, wherein the antenna is configured to connect with a corresponding antenna of the NFC scanner to enable wireless information transmission to the computing apparatus to enable display or storage of the geographic location in the computing apparatus or service platform in communication with the computing apparatus. Also disclosed are variants of cartridges.
