FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol delivery device and a control case for this device. The aerosol delivery device contains a heating element made controllable for activation and evaporation of components of an aerosol precursor composition, and a temperature sensor made with the possibility of measuring a temperature of the heating element or measuring a characteristic of the temperature sensor, based on which it is possible to determine a temperature of the heating element. The aerosol delivery device also contains a microcontroller unit connected to the temperature sensor and containing a built-in communication interface made with the possibility of connecting to a wireless local network and communicating with a service platform via at least one network, including the wireless local network, wherein the microcontroller unit is made with the possibility of communicating with the service platform so that a computing device connected to the service platform can remotely receive and provide user-perceived feedback, which shows a temperature of the heating element, measured or determined based on the characteristic measured by the temperature sensor.
EFFECT: possibility of increasing the usability of aerosol delivery devices is provided.
