FIELD: pipeline construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of pipelines and can be used for ballasting a pipeline covered with insulation. The device consists of a pair of rigid elements located at an angle to the vertical and made in the form of a pipeline grip and a pair of crossbars made in the form of frames from the upper and lower longitudinal beams. The crossbars connect the rigid elements with each other. The frames are connected at the ends with belts made of flexible strips and are equipped with outer covers made of flexible strips which are attached by edges to at least the longitudinal beams forming a closed ring on the pipeline with belts of flexible strips. Backfill soil is placed in a closed ring. There is a device for preventing destruction of pipeline insulation on at least a part of the length of each lower longitudinal beam. The device constitutes an elongated body. The elongated body has an extended surface shape corresponding to the shape of the surface of the pipeline insulation with the possibility of ensuring conformity upon contact and is made with the possibility of spontaneous orientation to ensure conformity of the shapes of the surfaces upon contact.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the possibility of destruction of the pipeline insulation due to a significant reduction in the specific pressure from the side of the lower longitudinal beams of the frames on the pipeline insulation.
