SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and relates to a method for predicting the postoperative course in patients after excision of a heart aneurysm. The essence of the method lies in the fact that areas of hypokinesis of the walls of the left ventricle are detected in the preoperative period. During the operation, the myocardial tissue is taken, followed by an immunohistochemical study of the myocardial tissue. In this case, the biopsy tissue is taken in the area of the revealed hypokinesis of the myocardial tissue adjacent to the aneurysm excision zone, and during the immunohistochemical study, monoclonal mouse antibodies to type IV collagen, clone CIV22, are added to the biopsy, with the restoration of antigenicity for collagen IV in buffer pH 9.0. When a complete absence of the basement membrane of cardiomyocytes is detected, an unfavorable course of the disease is predicted, when the presence of discontinuous areas of the basement membrane of cardiomyocytes is detected, the prognosis is doubtful, and when the preservation of the basement membrane of cardiomyocytes is detected, the prognosis is favorable.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing reliability of the prognosis of the postoperative course of the disease, which allows more effective treatment of this category of patients, improving quality and duration of their life.
