The rail assembly contains at least one rail, as well as a load-bearing structure with a cover. The structure is located on the side of the rail in its longitudinal direction. The cover can be removed from the load-bearing structure. The cover contains a horizontal surface on one level with a surface of a rail head. The edge part of the cover is directed to the rail, and it forms a guide. An angular profile is connected to the cover. The first profile shelf is directed to a rail sole. The second profile shelf is directed to a rail neck. A filling profile can be located on the profile shelf. The filling profile is made in the form of L-shaped or J-shaped rod. One shelf of the rod is made hollow, and the second one is made entire.

EFFECT: maintenance of the rail assembly is simplified.
