SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering. The damping base contains a fixed base and a movable horizontal platform for installing the protected equipment. The movable horizontal platform contains an upper shell and a support carriage, which are elastically connected to each other by a horizontal stabilization unit in the form of a rocker mechanism based on a vertical displacement compensation unit in the form of elastic elements. The levers of the rocker mechanism are fixed on a common axis. The upper and lower bearing supports of the rocker arms move along horizontal guides located in the upper shell and in the support carriage, respectively. The support carriage is connected to a rollover protection device and is movably supported on the base through horizontal displacement compensation devices in the form of rolling units.

EFFECT: reliable protection of equipment with a displaced center of gravity is achieved both from industrial vibration during operation and from powerful seismic impacts with a large displacement amplitude.
