SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for hydrocarbon isomerisation, including: providing a flow of raw materials containing hydrocarbons C₅, C₆ and C₇+; separating the flow of raw materials, producing a first flow rich in hydrocarbons C₅ and C₆, and a second flow rich in benzene and hydrocarbons C₇+; performing isomerisation of the first flow in the presence of an isomerisation catalyst and hydrogen in the area of isomerisation under conditions of isomerisation, producing a flow of the isomerisation product; bringing the second flow into contact with the benzene saturation catalyst under conditions of saturation of benzene, producing a flow of the saturation reaction product containing cyclohexane; feeding the flow of the saturation reaction product into a stripper to provide an overflow of the stripper and an underflow of the stripper; feeding at least part of the underflow of the stripper to a deisohexaniser column; and feeding the flow of the side faction of the deisohexaniser containing cyclohexanes from the deisohexaniser column to said area of isomerisation. The invention also relates to an apparatus.

EFFECT: proposed invention makes it possible to achieve a higher yield in an isomerisation unit C₅/C₆.
