SUBSTANCE: when communicating between wireless devices over a direct connection in a wireless network, the wireless device is specified with a set of one or more quality of service (hereinafter – QoS) requirements containing a threshold associated with the QoS characteristic, and is specified with display of one or more logical channel groups (LCG) reserved for buffer status report (BSR) message of the direct connection for data that meets the corresponding QoS requirement from a set of one or more QoS requirements, and the duplication of the direct connection packet is activated, if there are packets in the SL buffer of the wireless device that require high reliability of delivery, or one or more carriers are activated depending on the rate of transmission the data packet to be transmitted.
