FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular, to a set of oligonucleotide primers for quantitative detection of the genetic material of Herpesvirus Saimiri of the strain C488 or modified derivatives thereof in cell cultures by the method for quantitative polymerase chain reaction.
EFFECT: claimed invention provides a possibility to quickly, sensitively and specifically identify the infection of cell cultures with the Herpesvirus Saimiri virus, including that while obtaining immortalised human T-lymphocyte cultures, and can be used in laboratory and clinical practice for detecting the presence of said virus in cell cultures or other studied biomaterial.
