FIELD: waste processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of decontamination and recycling of solid household, industrial and medical waste, e.g., to mobile units for incineration of household and industrial waste and garbage. The unit includes a structural frame, a loading unit, an incineration module consisting of a combustion chamber with an air blower, as well as an afterburning chamber with an air blower, a cyclone, a scrubber consisting of a drop collector with a maintenance hatch, the body of the scrubber, a water circulation system with a pump, also includes at least one flue, a smoke pump, a smoke stack, a control cabinet, temperature and pressure sensors, characterised by the fact that the ratio of the volume of the combustion chamber to the volume of the afterburning chamber is from 0.8 to 1.5 and the air blowers have frequency power controllers. Also proposed method for using the described unit wherein which the air supply is controlled depending on the stage of the process.
EFFECT: unit and the method for use thereof provide a possibility to achieve a high degree of decontamination of hazardous substances, a low ash residue, wherein the apparatus is mobile and easily transportable, capable of continuous operation.
