FIELD: electrometallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of special electrometallurgy and can be used for the production of metal ingot. The metal charge is loaded into the crucible, its melting is carried out by the radiation of electron-beam generators, the metal melt is processed by the system of periodic creation of Lorentz forces built into the crucible, after which the upper most polluted layer of the melt is drained from the crucible by tilting it towards the container for collecting the melt with an increased concentration of low-density inclusions, after that, the crucible is returned to its original position and the remaining melt is refined by electron-beam generators with parallel processing of the metal melt by a built-in system for periodic creation of Lorentz forces. The device contains a two-link platform on which a cooled crucible is fixed with two mutually perpendicular tilt axes and drives, one of which is designed to tilt the crucible towards a container for collecting the melt with an increased concentration of low-density inclusions, and the other towards the mold.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of cleaning the metal melt from inclusions of both high and low density, as well as to reduce energy costs, the duration of the production cycle.
