FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology, in particular to promoters of the expression of a Brachyury protein in poxviruses. An expression cassette for the expression of a Brachyury encoding sequence in a vector, a poxvirus vector containing it, and a method for expressing a sequence encoding a Brachyury antigen in a vector are proposed. The expression cassette contains (a) a nucleic acid sequence containing a promoter active as a poxvirus promoter and containing a sequence SEQ ID NO: 9 or a subsequence SEQ ID NO: 9, which contains any of SEQ ID NO: 4, SEQ ID NO: 5, SEQ ID NO: 6, SEQ ID NO: 7 and SEQ ID NO: 8, and (b) a heterologous sequence encoding the Brachyury antigen functionally associated with the promoter, wherein the expression of the encoding sequence is controlled by the promoter.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to enhance the expression of the Brachyury antigen used in immunotherapy.
