FIELD: cranes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tower cranes. The slewing tower crane is comprised of a jib and a counter jib. The jib and/or the counter jib are hingedly connected to the head and/or the slewing unit by means of at least one connecting point, the first connecting part of said at least one connecting point has a concave stop surface, and the second connecting part of said connecting point has a convex counter stop surface. The counter stop surface of the second connecting part imparts a pressing force on the stop surface of the first connecting part in order to realise a force-locked connection between said connecting parts.
EFFECT: improved connection of the jib and the counter jib to the crane tower.
