FIELD: medicine; experimental medicine; dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: external access to a chin hole of a rat's lower jaw is created through an incision in submandibular area. In the area of the chin hole, bluntly dissecting tissues, a neurovascular bundle is allocated for 3-5 mm, fixed into two ligatures, followed by its dissection. The distal part of the bundle is turned up, covered with surrounding tissues and sutured. The surgical wound is sutured. In the area of mucogingival junction, a 1.5-2 mm wide mucosal section is excised by two converging semilunar incisions. The mobile mucosa is mobilized, the wound is sutured with U-shaped sutures.

EFFECT: method allows simulating a gum recession under conditions of impaired microcirculation of periodontal tissues in order to conduct preclinical studies to improve methods for the treatment of gum recession.
