FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to apparatuses for restoring coordination of movement. The apparatus for training pair balancing includes a disk platform and a base. The platform and the base have the same shape, wherein the diameter of the base must equal at least the diameter of the platform. A cylindrical axis with a flange, the free end whereof is placed in a blind sleeve in the form of a truncated cone on the side of the base thereof of a smaller diameter, is fixed in the centre of the lower surface of the platform. The base of said cone with a larger diameter is fixed in the centre of the upper surface of the base of the apparatus. Circular restricting stops are installed along the contour of the lower surface of the platform equidistantly from each other, depending on the radius of the disk platform and the height of the stop sleeve, in an amount sufficient to prevent the platform from hitting the base of the apparatus during rotational and oscillatory movement.
EFFECT: development of the coordination and gravitational capabilities of the patient is achieved both independently and in paired sessions with an instructor, wherein the communication qualities of the patient are also developed.
