FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used in mechanical engineering and remedial maintenance. The method consists in the fact that on the neck of each of the connected shafts along its axis, one end of the lining covering it is fixed in the form of a longitudinal segment of a cylindrical sleeve with an angle less than 180°, and on the end of one of the shafts perpendicular to the lining, the end of the plate. The other end of the plate and each lining protrudes beyond the shaft. The shafts are rotated so that the linings are located diametrically opposite and are in the same plane with the plate (horizontal or vertical). With the help of a caliper in a plane perpendicular to the axes of the shafts, the distance between the most distant points of the upper sides of the linings is measured. Then the shafts with linings are turned in opposite directions and the measurement is performed again. According to the difference in readings, the doubled value of the corresponding radial misalignment is determined. In addition, the value of the corresponding angular misalignment is determined using a goniometer, comparing the value of the resulting angle with an angle of 90°. The shafts are rotated and the doubled extreme radial misalignment and extreme angular misalignment are determined.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of measuring and regulating misalignment and expanding the scope of use.
