SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for manufacturing nicotine-containing sheets, as well as to methods for manufacturing rods generating aerosol containing assembled nicotine-containing sheets. The method for manufacturing nicotine-containing sheet (2) includes stages of combining a source of nicotine salt, a cellulose content of which is less than 5% by weight per dry weight, with a separate source of fibrous material, a nicotine salt content of which is less than 1% by weight per dry weight, to form a mixture, and then drying the mixture to form a sheet. At the same time, the total nicotine salt content in the mixture is at least 1% by weight per dry weight.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide aerosol generating products that provide nicotine delivery similar to conventional cigarettes and that do not require the user to handle the liquid composition.
