FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating rod and options of implementation of an aerosol generating product. The aerosol generating rod contains a sheet surrounded by a wrapper, wherein the sheet contains fibrous material, one or more nicotine salts and sugar, wherein the total content of sugar in the sheet is at least 15% by weight per the dry weight, and the total content of nicotine salt in the sheet is at least 1% by weight per the dry weight, and at least 20% by weight of the specified one or more nicotine salts is single-base.
EFFECT: combination of levels of nicotine salt and sugar, when heating, provides the formation of suitable aerosol from the sheet, while physical properties of the sheet are optimized in such a way that it can be effectively processed to form the aerosol generating rod.
