FIELD: radio communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication systems for cellular mobile communication. A terminal device contains a receiver made with the possibility of receiving higher-level signaling and a decoding unit made with the possibility of trying to decode a physical downlink control channel (hereinafter – PDCCH) in a control resource set, in which, in time domain, the degree of detail of a physical characteristic of the PDCCH is assumed to be equal to X symbols, the value of X is set by higher-level signaling, and higher-level signaling includes information indicating the number of symbols of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) of the control resource set.
EFFECT: implementation of the terminal device and the base station with the possibility to effectively receive a downlink.
