SUBSTANCE: method for communicating with a base station device contains stages, in which: the first information is received, indicating, whether orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with (OFDM)-extension of the discrete Fourier transform (hereinafter – DFT-S-OFDM) for a physical uplink shared channel (hereinafter – PUSCH) is selected, and the second information is received to configure the intensity of a phase tracking reference signal (hereinafter – PTRS) in the direction of time for DFT-S-OFDM; PTRS is compared with resource symbols for PUSCH before discrete Fourier transform (DFT) extension based on the second information, in the case when the first information indicates that DFT-S-OFDM is selected; and PUSCH and PTRS are transmitted.

EFFECT: ensuring the effective communication between the base station and the terminal device.
