FIELD: armored protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection against damage by projectiles of tanks and other types of combat vehicles and equipment. The armor element contains a plate of armor, rolling bodies mounted on it with the possibility of rotation, located tightly next to each other, and fixing elements. In this case, the fixing elements are made in the form of brackets, between which the rolling bodies are installed in the form of cylinders installed from the plate at a distance greater than the punching action of the cumulative jet, and to ensure the rotation of the rolling bodies, the brackets have axes of rotation with bearings.

EFFECT: creation of structures of armored elements of combat vehicles capable of deflecting or destroying various types of projectiles, having methods of additional impacts, in case of insufficient primary impact.
