SUBSTANCE: breast pump device for pumping breast milk contains reservoir unit (110) for receiving pumped breast milk and pump unit (120) containing pump case (130) and pump device (140) for applying negative pressure to the pumped volume set by pump case (130). Pump case (130) contains inlet part (132), made with the possibility of placing on the female breast, and outlet part (134), made with the possibility of directing pumped milk into reservoir unit (110). Case (130) also contains actuating element (200, 300, 400) containing active material made with the possibility of deformation when a control signal is applied to it and with the possibility of having at least bistable configuration. The deformation of actuating element (200, 300, 400) leads to a change in at least one of the shape and size of the pumped volume. Actuating element (400) is located on pump case (130) removed from the part designed for contact with the female breast. The deformation of actuating element (400) leads to a change in the value of the pumped volume set inside pump case (130).

EFFECT: increased volume of pumped milk.
