SUBSTANCE: device for determination of a breast condition during a milk extraction session contains breast lining for accommodation of the user’s breast and a unit for measuring nipple elongation, made with the possibility of measurement of elongation of the nipple of the breast placed in breast lining at specific pressure in breast lining during the milk extraction session. The unit for determination of the breast condition is made with the possibility of determination of evaluative emptiness of the user’s breast, presence or absence of a milk ejection effect, or evaluative emptiness of the user’s breast and presence or absence of the milk ejection effect of the user’s breast as a condition of the user’s breast based on elongation of the nipple of the user’s breast. The unit for determination of the breast condition contains a storage device storing values of breast emptiness depending on the nipple elongation and specific pressure in breast lining, or a function of evaluation of breast emptiness, having the nipple elongation and specific pressure in breast lining as input data and breast emptiness as output data. A milk pump for milk extraction, a method for control of milk pump operation during the milk extraction session, and a computer-readable carrier containing a computer program for control of milk pump operation are disclosed.
