SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automobile industry. A pneumatic tire includes a section (1) of the tread formed by a set of sectors divided in the direction along the circumference of the tire. The pneumatic tire contains a set of longitudinal grooves (9), a set of rows of running sections (10) and a set of slots (20). The set of longitudinal grooves (9) run in the direction along the circumference of the tire on the tread section (1). The set of rows of running sections (10) are formed by the set of longitudinal grooves (9). A set of slots (20) pass in the transverse direction of the tire in at least one row of the many rows of running sections (10). The set of slots (20) contains at least one slot (21) with a shallow bottom, which has a lower depth than the set of conventional slots (22).
