SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of automobile industry. The pneumatic tire tread section includes many rows of running sections formed by many longitudinal grooves running along circumference of the tire. Many sectors are formed divided along tire circumference, and set of slots passing in transverse direction of tire formed in running sections includes a three-dimensional slot, the shape of which visible on tread surface changes in direction of slot depth, and two-dimensional slot, the shape of which visible on tread surface is constant in direction of slot depth. The ratio R1 of three-dimensional slots number to the total number of slots in first boundary section, that is, within 15 mm on one side of separation point into sectors in the longitudinal direction of the tire, and the ratio Rt of the number of three-dimensional slots to the total number of slots in all sections of tread satisfies the expression R1 < Rt.
EFFECT: improvement in braking characteristics on wet, icy and snow-covered road surfaces.
