SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communications. The method comprises: receiving, by the target AMF, an old NF identifier from the original AMF that corresponds to an old NF entity serving a subscriber unit (UE); determining whether to use the identifier of the old NF or use the identifier of the new NF, which corresponds to the new NF-object of the NF-type, identical to the NF-type of the old NF-object; and transmitting, by the target AMF to the original AMF, information that indicates to the original AMF whether the target AMF uses the old NF identifier or uses the new NF identifier.

EFFECT: invention improves the procedure for changing the access and mobility managing functions (AMF) by enabling the exchange of network function (NF) efficiency information with the original AMF during the AMF change.
