FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrumentation, namely to threshold sensors of the inertial type, and is intended for monitoring the achievement of threshold levels of accelerations of moving objects, including when colliding with other objects, for example, in transport accidents. The inertial threshold sensor contains a housing with a support element made of a dielectric material and a spherical inertial body mounted in the housing with the possibility of moving at an angle to the sensor axis, compressed by a spring. The housing wall and the spring are connected to the current outlets. The sensor is equipped with an electrically conductive cup, in which a spherical inertial body and a spring are placed, and the latter presses it to the bottom of the glass, which is fixed on the support element. The cup wall is dissected into longitudinal lobes made of elastic-plastic material.
EFFECT: reliable performance of the support system and the expansion of its scope by achieving an increase in the duration of the closure of the electrical contacts of the sensor in conditions of vibration loads.
