FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation, namely to threshold sensors of inertial type, and is designed to control achievement of accelerations of moving objects of threshold levels, including when colliding with other objects, for example, during transport accidents. Inertial-type threshold sensor contains inertial body of spherical shape, which is arranged to move along and at angle to sensor axis. Body of spherical shape is pushed by elastic element fixed in body, made in form of flexible elastic rod with negative stiffness in section of working stroke. Central part of flexible rod has large elastic deflection, and ends are further supported to form symmetrical shape of rod bend relative to sensor axis. Flexible elastic rod is simultaneously movable electrical contact, interacting at the end of working stroke with stationary electrical contact.

EFFECT: technical result is increase in accuracy of sensor operation under action of accelerations, including impact pulses of arbitrary shape, increasing stability in vibration conditions and increasing functionality.
