METHOD FOR STUDYING AND PREDICTING PHYSIOLOGICAL AND COMPLICATED LABOR ACTIVITY Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B5/352

Abstract RU 2754938 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, obstetrics and can be used to predict the course of labor activity based on spectral analysis. A cardiorhythmogram is recorded in the latent phase of the first period of labor outside of contraction. Moreover, five records of 256 R–R intervals are carried out in each: in the initial state, when conducting a mental test that includes a mathematical calculation in the mind, namely, a sequential subtraction of 7 from 500, 5 minutes after the mental test during the recovery period, when carrying out a hyperventilation load and 5 minutes after hyperventilation during the recovery period. Then, based on the results of the spectral analysis of the heart rate variability (HRV) of five cardiorhythmograms, a curve is constructed, where the sequence of registration of five cardiorhythmograms is indicated along the abscissa axis, and the spectral power density of heart rate waves is indicated along the ordinate axis. The obtained curve is compared with six types of curves: physiological, hypoadaptive, load energy deficiency, energy deficiency state, energy fold, functional rigidity. When a physiological curve is detected, the physiological further course of labor activity is predicted. If other types of curves are detected, there is a complicated course of labor activity.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to quickly predict the course of labor at the beginning of labor and quickly adjust the management of labor due to the spectral analysis of HRV.
