FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to a method for treating hormone-dependent sphincter insufficiency of the bladder in female dogs. The method is characterized by the fact that while a dog is under general anesthesia, using endoscopic equipment, the contraction of the sphincter of the bladder, the urethra and the folding of this zone in response to intravenous administration of proserin is controlled, after which a 20-32% solution of hyaluronic acid or an inert polymer gel for soft tissue endoprosthesis is injected into the submucosal and muscular layers of the sphincter of the bladder at 10-15 points. Moreover, the initial 3-5 points are located along the perimeter of the sphincter, then 3-5 points are located along the perimeter of the sphincter in a plane located distal to the initial points, and 3-5 points along the perimeter of the sphincter in a plane located even more distal, causing complete closure of the urethra.
EFFECT: use of the invention will expand the arsenal of minimally invasive methods for the treatment of hormone-dependent bladder insufficiency in female dogs.
