SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical detection of substances in a gas environment and concerns a sensitive element of a luminescent sensor for optical detection of molecular bromine and bromine-containing substances in a gas environment. The sensor element consists of a polyvinylene polymer matrix made of a fluorine copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene with vinylidene fluoride, containing as a photoactive component colloidal semiconductor phosphors, including a core based on cadmium selenide and semiconductor shells based on cadmium sulfide and zinc sulfide.

EFFECT: increased selectivity of the sensor element.
