FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method for producing a biomass of methane-oxidising microorganisms and a line for implementation thereof. The method includes growing a biomass using a spent medium after the biomass is concentrated and drying said biomass. After the biomass is concentrated, the spent medium is separated and cooled, subjected to aerobic fermentation, followed by separation into the biomass of the associated microbiota and the liquid phase. The liquid phase is returned to the nutrient medium to grow a biomass. The line comprises a unit for preparing a nutrient medium, a unit for cultivating a pure culture, a unit for continuous cultivation of microorganisms, a biomass concentrating unit, and a biomass drying unit. The biomass concentration unit is equipped with two outputs, wherein the first of the outputs is connected with the input of the biomass drying unit through the inactivation unit, and the second is connected with the input of the unit for continuous cultivation of the biomass of methane-oxidising microorganisms.
EFFECT: inventions provide an increase in the efficiency and productivity of industrial production of bioprotein while reducing the consumption of purified water per unit of the finished products.
