FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. A method for obtaining a strong complex of the Gd3+ ion with an artificial recombinant W4 protein is described. The method differs in that the purified W4 protein is applied to a column with an ion-exchange sorbent in a ratio of 1:0.5 to 1:2 mg per ml of the sorbent in a HEPES buffer with a concentration of 10-20 mM and a pH of 7.0-7.4, and gadolinium nitrate at a concentration of 1 mM is applied in a buffer to balance the column in a ratio of 0.2 ml per 1 ml of the sorbent, while the ratio in the complex is 1:12.193±0.1102 mol Gd3+ per mol of protein.
EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of methods for obtaining Gd3 + ion complexes with recombinant proteins suitable for contrasting tumors using paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy, as well as for radiotherapy of tumors on the principle of thermal ablation.
