FIELD: hydraulic testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for hydraulic testing of components of Common Rail systems includes filling the inner cavity of the tested product with a process fluid, creating an initial pressure in the inner cavity of the tested product and then periodically changing the value of this pressure within specified limits using pressure amplifiers connected to the tested product in parallel. The same process fluid is used to drive the pressure amplifiers and to load the tested product with internal pressure, the number of pressure amplifiers can be greater than or equal to one, electrically controlled multipliers with the same multiplication coefficients are used as pressure amplifiers. All pressure amplifiers are switched on and off simultaneously. The control signals supplied to the pressure amplifiers are width-modulated, the frequency of the control signals being (3-25) Hz. Diesel fuel having a density (825-865) kg/m3 at 15°С and a kinematic viscosity (1.8-6.1) mm2/s at 40°С or a calibration fluid having a density of 825 kg/m3 is used as a process fluid at 15°С and a kinematic viscosity of 2.53 mm2/s at 40°С.
