SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to compositions of feed mixtures suitable for feeding meat-producing animals, as well as to the use of a composition. The composition of a feed preliminary mixture contains olive oil and at least two aromatic herbs or types of herbs selected from a group of plant sorts consisting of Oregano, Thyme, Sage or Frankincense, while the specified composition contains one or more aromatic herbs of the Oregano sort, wherein the specified composition contains aromatic herbs in amount from 5 wt. % to 95 wt. % and contains olive oil in amount of 5 wt. % to 95 wt.%. The composition may additionally contain a carob tree. The composition is mixed with conventional feed components to obtain the final feed composition, which is fed to animals.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions will make it possible to obtain meat that has unique and improved organoleptic properties, in particular aroma, taste and tenderness, compared with meat obtained from animals that were fed a normal diet.
