SUBSTANCE: apparatus for automated recording of wear of the barrel of an artillery piece, differentiating the shot by the type of ammunition, comprises a power source, an Arduino Uno microcontroller based on an Atmega 328 microprocessor, a breadboard with two-position buttons with colored LEDs, a two-line liquid crystal display with an I2C extension.
EFFECT: increase in the productivity of recording the wear at different shooting rates, a possibility of differentiating the shot by the type of munition while determining the amount thereof for different propellant charges, summation of the shots and determination of the total wear of the artillery piece, elimination of error of recording the amount of shots due to the absence of the influence of the human factor.
