FIELD: weapons and military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method of accounting for changes in the technical characteristics of a particular artillery piece, in which a shot counter with a cumulative fixation scale is installed on the gun and the geometric characteristics of the barrel-bolt group are measured. They produce ballistic firing. The data of the shot counter and measurements of ballistic firings are entered into the computer processing module of the collected data. The resulting corrections are tabulated and used to clarify the initial firing rate of a particular gun.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in shooting accuracy.
