SUBSTANCE: method relates to the field of diagnostics of the technical condition of mobile machines with an internal combustion engine and electronic control during operation, in particular, to methods for accumulating and evaluating the information on the operability of mobile machine systems for conducting timely maintenance and repair of the units and assemblies of the internal combustion engine. When the mobile machine is in idling operation, the technical condition of the internal combustion engine is monitored in two stages. At the first stage, cyclic fuel supply is constantly monitored at idling modes in order to detect if the threshold acceptable fuel consumption value is exceeded. For this purpose, a single-board computer is connected to the electronic control unit in advance. If the end values are exceeded, the single-board computer activates the second stage of the diagnostics. For this purpose, the single-board computer transmits a signal to the electronic control unit to initiate the runout process. During runout, the rotation speed is monitored and fuel injection is deactivated. After runout, the diagnostic indicators are calculated, and recommendations are issued for further maintenance and repair of the mobile machine. The readings are transmitted using a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi module. The readings are transmitted to the driver of the mobile machine, who in turn informs the technical maintenance station about arriving for repair.
