FIELD: control and measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of controlling piston diesel internal combustion engines (ICE) in operating conditions. Device for assessing the technical state and detecting incipient faults in engine systems includes a crankcase gas volumetric flow rate measuring device, oxygen sensor, a vacuum sensor, a nitrogen oxide sensor, a carbon monoxide sensor, a hydrocarbon sensor, a mass air flow sensor, an analogue-to-digital converter, a microcontroller, a transceiver, a transmitting antenna, read-only memory, TFT-screen, base station, accumulator, wherein second output of microcontroller is connected to ROM and TFT-screen, microcontroller with display are mounted in compact portable housing.
EFFECT: simplified process of diagnostics of engine systems and mechanisms, as well as implementation of real-time indirect evaluation of ICE technical condition.
