SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of maintenance and remote diagnostics of the technical condition of internal combustion engines of transport and process vehicles. Method for remote diagnosing of technical condition of internal combustion engine, according to which from diagnostic modules and engine control unit receives signals displaying current technical state of engine systems and its functional units, by means of telecommunication means is transmitted to a diagnostic center server, and there with the help of special software, which by means of neural network simulation performs forecasting of residual resource of systems and elements of the engine, and also makes it possible to give recommendations on preventive maintenance and repair of engine, characterized by that collection and processing of diagnostic information is carried out by means of single-board computer connected to diagnostic modules and engine control unit, wherein the single-board computer is connected to a satellite modem for transmitting diagnostic data to the diagnostic center server using space telecommunication means.

EFFECT: high reliability, timely operational information when diagnosing and assessing the technical state of internal combustion engines.
