SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an extractable insert, an aerosol delivery system, and a method for generating an aerosol. The extractable insert for an aerosol delivery apparatus comprises a chamber for placement of a refillable consumable material. The insert is configured to accommodate the replaceable consumable material during use, and the size of the insert is selected so that the insert can be placed in the apparatus between the walls of the chamber and the refillable consumable material.

EFFECT: collection of waste falling from the consumable material, and, therefore, clean state of the chamber for accommodation of the consumable material, are provided.
