SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hookah device comprising a first container for receiving a first consumable comprising an aerosol-generating substrate; a second container for accommodating a second consumable comprising an aerosol-generating substrate; first electric heating element configured to heat the aerosol-generating substrate in the first consumable, wherein first supply material is arranged in first container with possibility of aerosol generation; second electric heating element configured to heat the aerosol-generating substrate in the second consumable, wherein second supply material is arranged in second container to generate aerosol; and control electronics, functionally connected to first and second heating elements, wherein the control electronics is configured to activate the first heating element for heating the aerosol-generating substrate, the first consumable arranged in the first container, until the aerosol-generating substrate is completely or almost completely consumed, before activation of the second heating element for heating the aerosol-generating substrate, the second consumable arranged in the second container.

EFFECT: technical result is elimination of by-products of combustion.
