SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filling head (1) for connection to a barrel (9), in particular for a filling unit. The filling head (1) has a body (3) of the filling head, and a line (7) for supplying gas under pressure and a line (6) for beverage discharge are made in the body (3) of the filling head. According to the invention, a 3/2-way valve (2) is formed directly on or in the body (3) of the filling head in the line (7) for supplying gas under pressure, either connecting the line (7) for supplying gas under pressure from the gas source to the inner space (11) of the barrel or connecting the inner space (11) of the barrel with the environment (U) in a gas-conducting way, wherein the 3/2-way valve (2) has an elongated tube-shaped valve seat (12) whereon a sliding sleeve (13) is located, wherein the valve seat (12) is made protruding to the side from the body (3) of the filling head.

EFFECT: as a result, a barrel, in particular a disposable barrel, is subjected to complete release of air, wherein the execution of the release function is evident to the user without further verification.
