SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of connection control in wireless communication networks, namely, a method for operation of customer equipment with lost communication. To realise the technical result, in case of lost communication, the event of communication restoration after the loss thereof is determined, wherein the event of communication restoration after the loss thereof includes the occurrence of an emergency situation during the communication restoration procedure or the performance of communication restoration after the loss thereof in at least two cells, and performance of an operation corresponding to the event of communication restoration. In case of the occurrence of an emergency situation during the communication restoration procedure, the restoration of communication is therein assumed to be prevented or ignored by means of the primary cell, and the operation corresponding to the event of communication restoration involves cancelling at least one of the following operations: starting the indication of communication restoration with the primary cell for the upper level; starting the RLF by means of the upper level; starting a timer interconnected with the RLM or the RLF; timing in the absence of synchronisation at the upper level.

EFFECT: improved effectiveness of operation of the customer equipment with lost communication.
