SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communications equipment and may be used in mobile communication systems. The method to process a measurement task in a system of carrier frequencies aggregation includes: deletion of all measurement tasks related to a source secondary cell (Scell); or deletion of a measurement task related to a Scell cell in the deleted source Scell cell; or recovery of a measurement task connected to a source Scell cell, when the source Scell cell is reassigned to another frequency with an object of measurement; and conversion of an object of measurement in accordance with the measurement task connected to the source Scell cell, into the object of measurement with reassigned frequency. When the source cell Pcell and target cell Pcell are at different frequencies, and the object of measurement corresponding to the measurement task is the frequency, at which the source cell Pcell is located, and besides, the object of measurement is the frequency, at which the target Pcell cell is located, the object of measurement is converted into the object of measurement of frequency, at which the target cell Pcell is located; and when the object of measurement corresponding to the task of measurement of the frequency, at which the target Pcell cell is located, the measurement object is converted into the frequency measurement object, at which the source primary cell (Pcell) is located.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increased efficiency of measurement due to reduced supply of a configuration signal for a measurement task and increased speed of radio interface resource operation.
