The result is achieved by creating an operation method for an end device that exchanges data with a charger to charge an aerosol-generating device, including receiving charging information related to the battery from the charger when charging the device, evaluating the battery charging status based on charging information and determining whether communication between the end device and the charger is permitted based on the charging status.
EFFECT: regulating the energy consumption in the system.
