ROTARY-PISTON ENGINE WITH NON-UNIFORM PULSATING-ROTATIONAL MOVEMENT OF THE MAIN WORKING BODIES AND A MAGNETISM-BASED MECHANISM FOR CONVERTING THIS MOVEMENT INTO UNIFORM MOVEMENT, WITH A PROTECTION FUNCTION, AND WITH VARIANTS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC F02B53/00

Abstract RU 2757083 C1

FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The rotary-piston engine with non-uniform pulsating-rotational movement of the main working bodies and with a magnetism-based mechanism for converting this movement into uniform movement with a protection function consists of a body (1) in the form of a hollow ring with input and output collectors, piston units, a power mechanism for converting pulsating-rotational movement into uniform rotation, and an output rotary apparatus (7.2). Each piston unit consists of two or more double-sided pistons (2.1), (2.2), (3.1), (3.2). The power mechanism transmits uniform rotation to the output rotary apparatus (7.2). The body (1) of the engine with input and output collectors is tightly sealed and closed. All double-sided pistons (2.1), (2.2), (3.1), (3.2) are connected into piston units by external connecting modules located outside of the body (1) of the engine. The power mechanism for converting pulsating-rotational movement into uniform movement is made in the form of a magnetism-based mechanism for converting movement, with a protection function, acting on a non-contact basis by creating and breaking the effect of magnetic transmission, occurring through the body of the rotary piston engine and wherein the transformation of movement occurs due to a partial break in the effect of magnetic transmission, to the output rotary apparatus. The output rotary apparatus (7.2) has a frame structure for attachment to the base. All parts of the rotary piston engine and of all output apparatus and units, subjected to impact of magnetic fields from the mechanism for converting movement, except for the parts of said mechanism and the external connecting module, are made of solid non-magnetic materials and alloys, paramagnetics, or diamagnetics, or low ferromagnetic materials neutral to the impact of magnetic fields. The material of the body (1) of the engine and the bodies of the output rotary apparatuses (7.2) has minimal eddy current losses. The engine has a damage protection function acting due to the adjustment the interaction forces between the parts that create the effect of magnetic transmission so that these parts slip relative to each other when the speed of movement of one of these parts is sharply increased or sharply decreased.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the rotary-piston engine.
