FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to oral care devices. A device for implementing a method is proposed, wherein the device contains a temperature module made with the possibility to supply temperature data; and a controller made with the possibility to: (i) plan a data collection scheme containing a set of time points at two or more different temperatures; (ii) receive sensor data from a gyroscope for each of the set of time points, wherein data is obtained at two or more different temperatures; (iii) determine, whether the oral care device was moved at any of the set of time points, and, if so, exclude these time points from further analysis; (iv) determine a calibration model using obtained sensor data; (v) generate, based on obtained sensor data and determined calibration model, one or more parameters of the calibration model and (vi) calibrate, using the calibration model and the specified one or more parameters, gyroscope data obtained during a cleaning session.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the efficiency of calibration of the device for cleaning the oral cavity.
