SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building products used to create objects of landscape or architectural designs, and can be used in the construction of illuminated road surfaces, bike paths, curbs, panels, walls. The illuminated building block contains an upper outer layer, an intermediate layer with light-refracting elements, a lower layer and an LED strip with a conductor led out from the block. The upper outer, intermediate and lower layers are made on the basis of a two-component polymer resin, which is cured to obtain a translucent material. Between the upper outer and lower layers there is additionally at least one hollow translucent frame filled in its volume with at least one intermediate layer with light refracting elements. The LED strip is fixed on at least one hollow translucent frame along its contour. The bottom layer additionally contains an embedded reflective surface.
